What is the dress code?

The dress code is semi-formal / cocktail attire.

For guests in suits: A suit and tie or dressy separates. No need for a full tuxedo, but please avoid jeans.

For guests in dresses: Cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elegant separates. Midi or knee-length dresses are perfect!

The ceremony will be outdoors on grass, so please choose appropriate footwear (block heels or wedges recommended over stilettos).

Are children welcome?

While we love your little ones, we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives you a chance to enjoy a night out!

The only exceptions are children who are part of the wedding party.

If you need help finding childcare, please let us know and we can provide some local recommendations.

Can I bring a plus-one / guest?

Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate guests who are specifically named on the invitation.

If your invitation says "and guest," you are welcome to bring a plus-one. Please include their name in your RSVP.

If you're unsure whether your invitation includes a plus-one, please reach out to us and we'll be happy to clarify!

Do you have a gift registry?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for!

However, if you would like to give a gift, we have set up a small registry and also welcome contributions to our honeymoon fund:

We kindly request no boxed gifts at the wedding venue. If you'd like to give a physical gift, please have it shipped to our home address (available upon request).

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Absolutely! Our caterer can accommodate most dietary requirements including:

  • Vegetarian
  • Vegan
  • Gluten-free
  • Dairy-free
  • Common allergies (nuts, shellfish, etc.)

Please indicate any dietary restrictions when you RSVP so we can ensure there's a delicious meal waiting for you!

If you have severe allergies or specific requirements, please contact us directly so we can discuss with our caterer.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes! The venue has free parking available for all guests in the main lot adjacent to the venue.

If the main lot is full, there is additional overflow parking with a short walk to the venue (follow the signs).

Please note: We will be serving alcohol, so if you plan to drink, please arrange alternative transportation (taxi, rideshare, designated driver, etc.).

What happens if it rains?

The ceremony is planned to be outdoors in the garden, but don't worry — we have a backup plan!

If the weather doesn't cooperate, the ceremony will be moved indoors to the venue's beautiful covered pavilion. The reception is already indoors, so no changes there.

We'll send out an update the day before if we need to make any changes due to weather.

Can I take photos? What about social media?

We would love for you to take photos throughout the day and share them!

During the ceremony: We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras put away so you can be fully present (and so our photographer has clear shots!). We call this an "unplugged ceremony."

We will also share our professional photos with all guests after the wedding!

Will there be transportation provided?

We are arranging a shuttle service between the main hotel (Grand Hotel City) and the venue for guests who are staying there.

Shuttle schedule:

  • Hotel → Venue: 2:30 PM
  • Venue → Hotel: 12:00 AM and 1:30 AM

If you're staying elsewhere, we recommend arranging taxi or rideshare transportation, especially if you plan to drink.
